About Me
Jose Fernando Flores-Jimenez
As a screenwriter, director, and narrative designer, I am deeply interested in bringing a personal touch to every storytelling project I work on, whether that be a skit comedy or a serious documentary. I look at cinema beyond its market potential, and seek to maintain its status as a form of cultural expression deserving of our protection. I owe a great deal to cinema, and I hope to teach others its power and its application in improving people's lives. In short, nothing brings me more joy than the narrative possibilities of the moving image.
My ultimate ambition has been to write and direct my own original feature films. Along the way, I have explored the world of game design and writing for VR. I have also brought my expertise on performing and managing a film set to the classroom, as a co-designer of a college-level course with University faculty. I see no limits to where narrative and collaboration can take me. My passion is always with cinema, but by curiosity always brings me to new fields. Where shall we go next?
